Join us for the December 2024 JANNAF meeting, which will include the:

  • 49th Structures and Mechanical Behavior (SMBS)
  • 45th Propellant and Explosives Development and Characterization (PEDCS)
  • 34th Safety and Environmental Protection (SEPS)
  • 2nd High Temperature Material Applications (HTMAS)
    Joint Subcommittee Meeting and
  • Programmatic and Industrial Base (PIB) Meeting

This meeting will be held Monday through Friday,
9 - 13 December 2024,
at the Hilton Charlotte University Place in Charlotte, North Carolina.

The JANNAF Interagency Propulsion Committee focuses on the technology, development, and production capabilities for all types of propulsion systems and energetics for tactical, strategic and missile defense rockets and missiles, for space boost and orbit transfer, for in-space propulsion, and for gun systems. JANNAF provides a forum for discussion of propulsion issues, challenges, and opportunities across the Military Departments, Defense Agencies and NASA. JANNAF subcommittees focus their resources on technical issues of interest to the JANNAF agencies.

The call for papers is now open!

JANNAF is organized into the Technical Committee and the Programmatic & Industrial Base Committee. The call for papers provides detail on which technical subcommittees are soliciting abstracts and in what mission area. If you are not sure which subcommittee or mission area your work belongs feel free to contact us and we can help direct you to the right area.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations received on or before Friday, 5 April will receive a full refund minus an administrative fee of $75.00. Cancellations made after Monday, 5 April will not be refunded. For the full Cancellation & Substitution policy, please see page 7 in the Meeting Invitation or Program.

*Student Attendee Eligibility:

  • Full-time undergraduate or graduate students
  • Full-time interns and cooperative education students

Required Student Proof:

  • Official documentation from your University indicating the semester during which the meeting will occur; the number of credit hours registered; and the number of credit hours considered full-time by your University for the applicable semester and student type (i.e., undergraduate, graduate, etc.).

Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) is 15 miles from the hotel. As the 7th busiest airport in the world, you can expect many options for flying to and from Charlotte.

The Hilton Charlotte University Place does not offer airport shuttle service.

 

Self-parking at the Hilton Charlotte University Place is complimentary. Valet parking is not available.

Eight car rental companies have locations at CLT.

Taxi services are available to/from CLT and the surrounding area, as well as ride share services including Uber and Lyft.

 

The LYNX Blue Line light rail offers low-cost transportation to many areas in Charlotte, with a one-way fare costing just $2.20.

The LYNX Blue Line's JW Clay Station is within close walking distance to the hotel.
